CHRISTINA APPLEGATE was never alone end-to-end her struggle against breast cancer - her friends, including isaac Bashevis Singer LANCE BASS, were always at her bedside.
After testing positive for the deadly illness net month (Jul08), Applegate opted for a double mastectomy - and the drastic surgery left her "clear" of whatsoever tumours.
And former 'N Sync star Bass, the actress' longtime friend, insists her hospital stay was made bearable by the presence of her loved ones.
He tells People.com, "I was at the hospital belongings her hand and acquiring her through it. She is a very, very loved person."
And the Samantha Who? headliner distracted herself by taking up a few hobbies while convalescent.
Bass adds: "She's a heavy crossword puzzle girl. That kept her busy.
"In her hours of recovery, she's made all these roses out of lace. She has hundreds and hundreds of these amazing different roses. She doesn't recognize what she's going to do with them."
